A NOTE ABOUT VISITING: Prospective visitors should be aware that some gardens, even in general hospitals, are not open to the public. It is always a good idea to contact the health care facility first to make sure that a spontaneous visit will not be disruptive to patients and staff. You may need to schedule a visit. In general, facilities that care for people with less control over their environment are more restrictive (e.g. Alzheimer's and other long term care, children's, and psychiatric).
